Re: Vision 110 - LED spot light upgrade.
I used Philips or OSRAM everything. I didn’t go cheap as it just isn’t worth it. I changed the rear for reliability more than brightness but it is slightly brighter and uses less power leaving more for heated gear and electric goodies!
Most that I see on my commute use 125’s but it sits happily at 50mph on t A90 and does the commute well. It’s air cooled and simple to maintain which is a plus point over the PCX and Forza. Five minutes of plastic panel removal and you’re on the valves etc. I have two spare engines so any problems with yours and give me a shout. I probably have the part ‘in stock’
I have also made up a set of leads to help with fault diagnosis and sensor resets.
You will enjoy yours I’m sure

Scootyman, thanks for your posts - and your videos. The OSRAM LEDriving H4 bulb you mention is £100 for two in Halfrauds and £58 for two on ebay. Gulp!
As a (possibly) cheaper replacement for visibilty, the front running lights on my 2020 vision seem none too bright. Have you or anyone replaced them, with LED's and what with? And can I ask, is the LED rear/brake bulb just a standard replacement? It's bad enough dodging Edinburgh's pot-holes and traffic without worrying about being seen!

Thanks for the offer, 50spence. Is there some way to PM on this site so we could arrange something?

I have a spare sat in the garage somewhere but if you two are going to share a pair, at that price it would work out cheaper for you. Worth the money though.

The contrast between the standard headlamp...
And the new LED Osram bulb...
I think I might have to try the LED sidelights!

Re: Vision 110 - LED spot light upgrade.
A wee update on the Vision.
I added the Puig Trafic windscreen today.
You will also notice the Givi e300n topbox. I did try the e370n, but it just looked too big for the bike.
On first ride, the wind was coming over the top of the screen and hitting my neck (for reference, I'm 5'11"). So back in the garage, I raised it as much as I was able to. Second ride out was better, with top of windscreen at about chin height, the wind didn't affect me when the visor was down.
In hindsight, I should have got the Puig Urban, which is slightly taller. That said, it really blocks with wind off my chest very well.
It was straightforward to install.
Osram LED sidelights arriving Friday, so looking forward to trying them out. I haven't ridden at night or dusk yet, kinda afraid to as the LED headlamp is so much brighter than the original bulb. It is grand for daylight use.
