Hi all, I thought I would introduce myself. I have recently returned to the world of Honda cubs, having bought myself a 73 c90 and also 91 c90, after a 20 odd year gap.
Both bikes are sound but need a few bits doing.

I have fond memories of thrashing around farmers fields and the local nature reserve as a teenager, we had an old c90 and a c50 that would be worth quite a few quid these days. When I turned 16 lots of fun was had on a 77 c50 with a c70 barrel and piston, I would spend hours rebuilding it and attempting to tune it to go faster!

I am in the Selby/Goole area, any local members? I am looking forward to attending some meet ups and rides when covid and weather conditions allow.

Welcome from Essex.

Rides do happen in your area. Matlock isn't that far and hopefully will be run sometime in the future, one of 3 "official" club rides every year in normal times.

There are sometimes local rides in the York area so it's worth keeping an eye on the section "Local Meetings". The York crew don't seem to get on here that often nowadays but still exist. I've travelled up several times for rides on the Moors etc. (I tend to camp at Squires).

Hi and welcome
Brings back so many memories doing the seventy head barrel and piston, it does not sound like a big thing but someone told me it was 20% increase in capacity and made the bike feel like a rocket ship! Enjoy your new bikes.
