Speedo cable snapped at 2k.. seems mighty early in our relationship to do that.. and its
not covered by the 2 year warranty...

Dear folks,

I need a 41" inner speedo cable square fitting - anyone got any ideas ?

Ive trawled ebay / amazon & nothing springs out.

I've got the speedo Silky Glide repair kit from WeMoto as a backup.

Afraid not. speedo cables can be something of a sod. Will the dealer not sell you one?

Will one from a Yamaha Cygnus fit, as that's essentially what the Hero is?

Ged,

Cheers, I was hoping just to replace the 41" inner & save myself rethreading everything - dream on .. but the cygnus cable is 39 inches &
may still fit as a whole unit, just without as much slack..

Dear all, advice needed..

This morning the starter sounds like bag of spanners - doesnt sound good - new battery too. Does eventually start & sometimes
not make the racket..

Is it time to get a new starter ?
