Evening all,
Just joined, I've a few bikes but amongst them is the 1979 Z50j that my father has fitted a 1984 c90 engine into. I've owned the bike for 9 years and my dad had it for a gods few years previous. It's just had a good service as it wasn't sparking but now it's running fine it's away to get a fresh coat of paint and hopefully get it on the road.
Anyway, just here for a look around and hopefully get some tips etc. Thanks for the add

Hello and welcome aboard.
I've also a z50j,1981 vintage.
That c90 engine is a good upgrade, and there is more room for improvement. If your tool handy a 107cc big valve kit is available very cheap. I've one done and in a cf70.

Apologies for delay, work and technology issues.
I insured and put the monkey on the road last night, its 97 percent finished. Just waiting for side panel paint to dry now then back on. Black in pic but will be red, need to scrub the tyres clean too.
Issues getting enough fuel when throttles open but this'll be solved hopefully soon enough.
Also, hope these images work, can't figure that out either.
