Honda SH125 - Any good?
Been a while since I've posted, the carbed 2005 Innova had been going well, & as some blind idiot drove into the parked ZX-9R in Spring, it's been my only transport. But the Innovas been getting a bit temperamental of late. As I don't drive, & the public transport is virtually non existent out in the sticks, been thinking about another small bike as back up for the 12 mile commute.
A friend of a friend has a Honda SH125 for sale. As far as I can make out, it is a twist & go bike.
Anyone here owned one or had experience of them?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce

Richie probably has more miles on an SH125 than anyone I know.
I'm sure he will be along to comment soon.

Great little bikes, my mates had one for a while,
Riding in to central London from roydon harlow every day
It's got some high mileage on her now.
I would have one.

if it belonged to a mate so known history/ treated kindly then you can't go wrong and as you say is twist n go so nice n easy for the winter commute.
Stick on a blanket (will scratch bodywork but small price for warm legs, set of bar mitts and good to go)
Ritchie is the high mileage SH wizard
Yes I'd own one

Re: Honda SH125 - Any good?
Yep here I am,on my 4th Honda sh 125,and they have been different. Brillant scoot big in size/lots of m.p.g big range ,from few years ago gone key-less which I don't like, thats why I might go for Honda sh 125 mode next time.
But I do run a Suzuki [x2] 110 address,s which is lot cheaper the best is my opinion is what I ride.Have to say all the miles I have done is the sh 125.

I have the SH300 and that's terrific. Makes a great commute scooter, light agile and good weather protection, when fitted with a screen.

Re: Honda SH125 - Any good?
Thanks for the thoughts - I'll find out some more about the bike being sold. All I know so far is it's got 10k on the clock, & has been garaged & used as a 2nd bike. It's from the neighbour of an ex workmate I keep in touch with.
All the best
