Briggs and Strapon

Post by Diesel Dave » Fri Nov 01, 2019 10:09 am

Ever taken a look at an engine and thought ‘That would fit in a bike....somehow’.

And before you all start screaming ‘It’s been done before’; yes I know it has so wind yer neck in.

So take one horizontal mower engine.

Then convert it to vertical operation.

Now start the search for a suitable chassis, looks like the 10hp diesel May be taking a rest for a while (I still have the Kubota twin diesel to ride around on).

Hmmm, there’s nothing in construction and use regs about forecars so I guess they can still be built so long as motorcycle type tricycle and not oversized enough to be a car type tricycle.

Has to be more practical a use for that engine than cutting the grass

What about a Piaggio MP3 chassis??

Hell, yes!

My favourite episode of American Chopper was when they built a bike with a Dixie Choppers lawnmower engine. 8-)
