Hello new owner joining the party
Collect my new Honda c125 super cub next week and enjoy talking / meeting like minded folk. My friends? Pretend that they understand my love of the cub but think I'm a little sad/stupid to ride such a bike.
Fortunately I don't give a toss for others opinions I just want to own the legend again.
Unable to build a time machine to take me back to the 70's I use music and motorcycles
Staffs based bike supplied by Dudley motorcycle centre.

Thanks for welcome guys ......
Déjà vu....? I've been here before along time ago apx 2012 ish I was a member of this forum user name mighty 90 I was running 6 & 12 volt 90cubs both V plate 79&99 riding to work daily I was being constantly overtaken and bullied by other road users so.......
I defected to Suzuki vanvan ownership both 125 & 200 versions brilliant bike with a great 70's vibe after nearly 10 years and 20k miles I'm back on a cub this new 125 /10bhp model should I hope keep up with modern traffic.
I love the cub for many reasons I passed my test on a cub c50 with 70 head barrel and piston hence user name, the 1962 maudes trophy test see wiki and changing the world forever.
It is true that James may is a knob (a harmless knob though) but he did say when you ride a cub you do have the ghost of Mr honda with you!..... Although there is no rear seat on this new incarnation.

Hi Seventyheadbarrel.Where abouts in Staffs are you,I'm in Rugeley? Don't own a C type bike at the moment, having had C90s,6 and 12v,and an Innova. At the moment I run a 300 cc scooter, which I love.I have looked at the C125,but don't think I would like to go back to a geared bike.

Hi mate
Just up the road in hednesford next to raceway, never met a two wheeler I didn't love. Although Honda FT500 did test me.

Hi,your're very close then. The closest any other member has been to me since I joined the forum.
I am getting on a bit and at the moment awaiting surgery, but once through it perhaps we could meet up for some of the rideouts.Matlock is always a good one.
