Suzuki Address 110

Post by 125erCrazy » Sun Aug 25, 2019 9:45 am

Quick question

can any UK110NE/M owner please remind me where the battery is housed (I've forgotten)

I recall by the headlight but that might have been the Burg 400 only I want to fit an optimate lead & if I need to drill an access hole in fairing or battery cover

Cancel cancel cancel,

Google/Utube says behind the front cover below headlight which I recall was a pig to remove despite looking easy (paint damage as paint finish like rice paper)

I'll use same hole I'm drilling for USB socket (get me Mr 21st Century) rather than a 12V

I've fitted a 12v socket on my bikes and have little USB inserts.

The USB's are used for USB stuff but they can be removed and the optimate accessory plug shoved in there to charge the battery if necessary.

8-)

So collected the Address today

Did 39 miles cross country (or unpaved pavements as the back roads around here are)

What do I notice,

as good as my original 110 although the rear brake lever no longer has a locking lever (which is now exclusive to the Middle East/Aus market)

Loving the white colour scheme

fuel gauge is slow to register showing full

Riding position does give me an ache across the shoulders

I haven't developed anymore fat across my arse in the lapsed years so numb bum syndrome is evident.

I smile as much as when I owned my first one.

Running in blues for a few miles yet but looking forward to getting some tours in.

Yes you did.

Emissions is killing everything with leaner burn.

I still can't find why the cam was redesigned but the extra 3kg in weight won't help

After doing 1600 miles on the blue one,it has got just a bit quicker maybe it just needs more miles on it,who knows but the silver one with lots more miles up,is still quicker, and its been like thay since the day I picked it up.
