glad you're on the mend, sadly I don't heal well at all, my leg is still healing 6 months after binning my dr750 in the lanes

That was a great read, DD.
They do say that the problems we encounter on these trips "enhance" the experience.
I always enhoy your diesel rally write ups.
That Stelvio pic really shows the hairpins.

Know how you feel, and raise you 4 months. Still relieved I bit the dust at home rather than abroad though.

Easily, an SH is quicker and faster then my diesel anyway. Perhaps it doesn’t have the luggage capacity but choose your kit carefully and keep it light and you should be fine. Stu’s NC700 needs the seat lifted to refuel and so he needed to remove his tent pack from the rear seat each time as you would do with the SH.

BTW have you seen Antons Innova?
