Help please front rack

Post by Alang » Wed Jul 03, 2019 7:06 pm

Hi all
I have purchased a front rack complete with fitting bolts but the two bolts that bolt onto the front forks are too big. (8mm) could anyone please inform me of the correct size required and are the holes in the forks threaded ? Thank you

Hi wightgi
Thank you for your prompt reply. Do you know if the forks are threaded or will I need m6 bolts with nuts?

Should be threaded, but may have a rubber/plastic plug in there that will need removing first.
This is the front rack for a presscub, this has two legs not the one that your rack should have, top one on this is the same as yours(m6) but this has a m8 bottom one as well.

Hi Steve
Brilliant. Thank you for the advice. I’ll look for some m6 bolts and put them in. 👍
