Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I like the look of the small front (side/parking?) lights you get on the older cubs.
Any idea how simple/difficult this would be to fit?

Are you mistaking those for the rectangular indicators on early bikes ?

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
You know the centre fork cover, that has a white light unit in it? Later models just have the badge, usually.
This type of thing.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Should be quite easy to do IMHO. Plenty of aftermarket position lamps available from the Far East.
All seem to come with either 50 or 70 on but suspect these are just foil stickers so could be removed. Wiring to the parking light position should be easyish unless you don't bother (is the headlight not on permanently?)
Should be better looking than the horrid Supercub badge although looking at the fork cover mounting screw it might need some creativity fixing.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I'm not too familiar with the different sizes and bracket styles but would think with a bit of fettling it might be "doable".
I was thinking about getting a pair of those led units but not quite got around to ordering them yet...

I've seen those modern variants on eBay etc. I wouldn't mind paying the price of the item but from memory the postage doubles up the price.bikerbaker wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 11:48 amShould be quite easy to do IMHO. Plenty of aftermarket position lamps available from the Far East.

In all fairness, they look like something that should be around £5, so paying about £22 isn't appealing to me.
I agree the standard logo isn't attractive, hence the thought of doing something slightly different. I think it would be fairly easily removed as well?
Anybody got a spare Honda unit they want to sell with the light? I'd probably convert the light to an led anyway.

I just love the way the 70 decal has been carefully applied!

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I would bring it to the Softies, put a sign on it, and advertise it on here and the FB sales page too.
There's about 5 years of its history on here, and its robustness is proven.
What's its replacement?
