Nanfang NF 50

Post by Crosshill » Mon Nov 14, 2016 2:53 am

Hi folks I would appreciate your opinions on this little moped. It's loosely based on the old SS 50, build quality looks reasonable and it's also not restricted.

If in doubt about the motor, fit a new lifan motor and have a good looking reliable bike for under a grand.

Wish I had not seen this, I want one now with my original SS50 reg plate on it! Rear mudguard could do with coming forward a little, the radius looks more suited to an 18" wheel and I'm not keen on the tank shape personally but the bike as a whole would make a great basis for an SS replica or a wee Cafe Racer. Wonder what the quality is like? Perhaps you can let us know if you by one.

What type of questions should I ask about it.

Dave, at the very bottom of the Ebay listing I noticed this........"Insurance available through Rampdale on 0844 815 6125 dealer reference 378959 or Bikesure on 0800 089 8070 dealer reference G3957"

They've bodged it up with 80'ies parts. The writing on the tank says: Cash Deposit 70
