I think only private sales can send in the post. Might be worth looking in to.
Best thing to do is remove the stock and then pack it up. When asked what the contents are just say sporting equipment which is not exactly a lie ;) ;)

Yes, it's THE place to trade guns. You can actually get shotguns on there for nothing! :D Yes, really! :o Providing you have the right certificate, of course.

And not to forget room in your gun cabinet, which is often why they come up for free! Making way for the latest acquisition! ;)

Imagine if you had to dispose of a bike you couldn't garage! And if you were caught with one out of the garage not in use, you lost your licence

If I wasn't selling my rifle i'm open for a challenge. Be warned though that im a shit hot shot. I had all my marksman badges in army cadets using both small bore and large bore military rifles.
Around 15 years ago using a falcon FN12 pre charged air rifle I once shot 25 frozen peas in a row from 25 metres

ag can shoot 25 frooozen peas at 25 yds and then hit each one again before it hits the floor.... ;) :) :) :) :)

Seriously, he drops pigeons with a shot to the brain, at 46 yds. (Patio windows to back of the garden) They are so dead, he can get a couple or three before they know what's going on! :ugeek:

And.... I'll outshoot him any day. :|

I used to shoot 10p coins at 200 yards just to embarrass the military types at Bisley.

With a peep sight.

ha, it was you dave, we used to go over to bisley and find the odd 2p on the small outdoor pistol ranges, ( the dugout bunker ones )

we used to go there (when i lived in LDN ) And shoot practical rifle on the short siberia ranges, lots of fun with my old parker hale 7.62 M85

Same model as this, (best made rifle bipod ever)

Image

Then we got into practical pistol with a thompson 45,

but it all started with the section one shotguns. :P

I took a crow out from 600 yards when I was in army cadets. I was using a .303 lee enfield.
I have also killed 2 rabbits with one pellet. I was using my mates stealth at the time and there was what I thought a nice fat bunny sitting like a stuffed dummy 15 yards in front of me so I let it have one in the brain. when I went and picked it up baby bunny was underneath it with a hole in its neck. seems as if mummy bunny was shielding baby bunny. at least baby rabbits are more tender.
Anyway the Webley is on its way to Lancashire on Monday thanks to Newts tip off :D :D
