here we go for the banter :D
here you all go for our defence !!
first off,25 day delivery RIGHT YES WE HOLD ARE HANDS UP HERE ,DUE TO THE WEATHER CONDITION, FOR SOME PEOPLE LIVING IN ENGLAND ,WHO DIDNT NOTICE THE CONDITIONS OVER THE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PERIOD ,THEY WHERE FOR ENGLAND ,SERVERER CHAOUSE ON THE ROADS MENT OUR DELIVERYS GOT ALL MESSED UP ,AND TO CUT LONG STORY SHORT IT TOOK USE A FORTNIGHT TO CORRECT ALL OUR DELIVERYS BACK TO RUNNING ORDER, SO BANG BANG ,GUYS CAN SHOOT USE FOR THAT , BUT IAM SURE WE WASNT THE ONLY GUYS TO SUFFER
for our items,
we are talking second hand spare parts, which are in usable serviceable condition ,parts as described.A 25 year old parts for £1 i dunno why they cannot see the bargain but hey,we stand that our parts where described and we offer a good service ,we didn't steal anyone's money, have them off with a hooky scam more try and rip people off,(which in the land of eBay seems to be the category people put you in if you are left negative feedback by people who do not take into consideration that we were always in touch ,via e-mail or mobile number ,not charging stupid high prices for a something or scam ,just a unforscene weather problems which dearly contributed to a very bad delivery , so i don't think because of a one bad thing should total rule out all the good things

:d WELL THATS ARE DEFENCE ,WELL MORE SO ARE APPOLIGY TO THE GUYS WHO WHERE DISSAPOINTED ,:D

Personally I dont think it's fair to use the bad weather as an excuse. Post offices weren't closed for a month, a few days disruption and delay is understandable but 25 days??? I sell secondhand bike parts on ebay too (including over the Christmas and new year bad weather), as long as you're prompt and friendly and the parts are described accurately there's no reason for the negative feedback that you have. I have a feedback rating of almost 1900 and it's 100% positive all from 25+ year old motorbike parts.
You cant sell unuseable tat to people and make them wait a month for it and expect them to be happy with it. Most people use the feedback system fairly (there's always a minority of people who aren't reasonable) and if they have a positive experience you'll get positive feedback.

Let's not get carried away here. I bought a carb from these chaps and I had no problems. I needed a C90 carb for the earlier type bike with the on and reserve fuel tap. What I received was exactly what I'd asked for, complete with the little rubber boot for the cable. I stripped it for a look around but it didn't need any attention and could have been fitted straight out of the box.
Yes, there was a delay in receiving it, but then lots of things were delayed around the New Year period, so I don't think it was a major issue.
BTW I did the deal outside of Ebay so I had no buyer protection or feedback system. I will be buying parts from MLH again.

it's very easy to jump on the bandwagon.. but in their defense i ordered a c90 as a project, it was exactly as described and was delivered on time...

Fair comment chaps, but trust is built, not taken for granted.
And when you get burnt, it HURTS! Hence, it pays to be cautious.
Any hint of any nonsense, from sellers, and they'll be gone. Simples!
