Solid frame and forks for sale

Post by cheesemanpaul » Wed Jun 08, 2011 6:51 pm

C90 e frame and forks, rusty but solid. I have no v5 for it. It was bought from a old guy and was left in his shed, it was a massive house so not worried about it being dodgy. The only bad bit is on the tail piece connection, should not be problem for Mot. Also mostly genuine blue plastics, side panels are new after Market. Most of wiring loom. Few other bits. Pm me if interested. Paul
I will post pics up later

I must have it wrong,i thought you should not put adds on this site if you also put it on ebay?
I thought the "rules" say a price to be stated ?
I wont bother reframing my bikes i will get my son to weld them up .
Thank you

Quite right Tom. We were talking about this lately, we've been pretty lax about it but thinking we might need to tighten it up.

There is a ebay and autotrader section for just that. We don't want to see any items that are on ebay being placed here.

Our hope is that sellers will offer goods here, to members first, and if they fail to sell, put them on ebay.

We've been lax due to the relatively small number of ads coming through. If you go onto say, Pistonheads, and search 'Clio 172' you'll see why information in the header is necessary. They carry hundreds and hundreds of adverts, and you can't sort and sift them without good header information. They do very well, and searching the right car there is easy.

So, the meta tagging information on these pages, means that many search engines collate and store this information. 'Cub for sale' will clog up future searches, for you, I, and for generations even!

It's about good, responsible housekeeping really, the more accurate the header the better for everyone.

WHile I'm banging on, I might mention my 'Favourite' Thread heading... Yes, you've guessed it, 'Help needed!'

Shoot that poster!

Cheers Newt,i am thick with computers but i can understand it must be difficult to be fair to everyone.
Ive managed to buy kit from ebay, gumtree and preloved but not from this site, not to worry my c90 no.1 bike is still running well,a little rusty but mechanically its sound, its recently passed its mot no probs.

Have you any other members that have had the same bike (and used i regularly)for 25 yrs.
I dont know what mileage i have done because ive had 3 or 4 speedo heads over the years.
Ive never had the head of.
THATS what i call a good bike.

Thanks for your help newt

Excuse me for not knowing all the rules, I do apologise. The items have been on here for the last 2 week and no ones bothered hence being put on eBay. Thanks Paul
