is not the float bowl fitted wrong i can see o ring should be turned round john

Just looking at your post, Johnboy, then looking at photos.......
Ummm....
Shouldn't the 'mouth / throat' face the opposite way to the fuel intake stub??
So yes, looks like wrong way round?
