Next time I'll ignore you lot and look on ebay first!!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Honda-C50-C70-C90 ... 1404wt_754
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Honda-C90-C-9 ... 1504wt_934
Both £20 plus postage, but without the scrubbing I did to get the rust off and the £10 I spent on paint to repaint it. Lesson learnt!

I'm sorry to hear you're not happy, with all due respect the ones on ebay are not genuine Honda & may or may not fit correctly. These were in really good straight condition & I wouldn't have thought would have needed repainting at all unless you were wanting a concours finish, in which case you wouldn't have bought 16 year old ones which clearly said in the listing had a little rust?

Re: Pair of chaincases. VGC
its true they are genuine and the rust is all surface rust, unlike my old ones. I just spent a lot of time rubbing them down, then realised I should have used the dremel as it wasn't such a light sanding. Then when i found these my heart sank a bit. tbh i probably would have ended up painting the ebay ones black anyway. sorry for whinging, not complaining, just tired, and its my birthday tomorrow, grrr.
BTW, does anyone know an easy way of taking rear wheel out? never would have managed by the side of the road, but I can do the mille one standing on my head!! Doesn't seem right.

You leave the chain and sprocket on the bike ,undo brake rod and torque arm undo 17mm nut after removing split pin slacken larger nut tap spindle out watch out for spacer .All this should be possible with the bikes tool kit.

oh dear, thats exactly what I did and what a faff!! Hardest bit was getting the wheel out. Had to lift the back of the bike up. And that was with the exhaust off!!
