I went to see this tonight.

I met Alex, and his mum, who had the pleasure of riding pillion on this some 50 years ago!

The bike is a 1963 C200. It is presently without it's engine, but as clearance proceeds, there may be some hope of it turning up.

The whole thing has surface rust. The frame has no holes I could see. The bike is definitely salvageable, but isn't an oily rag resto.
If the engine doesn't surface, this bikes mounts will take a Chinese engine with a small amount of metal removal.

The old white logbook is included, and it is listed on the DVLA database. However this won't necessarily guarantee you a V5, DVLA may require to see the bike in MOT'able condition before issuing one.

Watch this space, as the bike will be up for serious sale in June, by which time the workshop clearance will determine exactly what comes with it.

Best bits; On the DVLA data base, Old style logbook included, fairly solid frame, chain cases intact, very nice front badge!

I'd stick it on here for a week first, if only to save you the hassle of dealing with the inevitable unhelpful queries on ebay.
