Engine for sale

Post by Knobby » Tue Dec 14, 2010 1:32 pm

I have a L reg electric start engine.
It is from a bike I bought to work on but it doesnt look like i will ever get round to it.
It will run but the ignition barrel fell apart so cant start it now.
Depending on where you are you could pop round and if you can get the bike started without the ign barrel you can hear it run?
I am north east london.

Unplug the key switch from the loom and it should start (kick). Plug back in to stop.

Yes. So was that good advice! A purchaser might want to hear it run but not know how to start it without the switch. :D

As I bought another 90 tonight I will probably break up the bike I had my accident on now.
The engine in this bike is an electric start and can be heard running before its removed.
