1980 6v c90zz exhaust parts

hello every body,hope you have all had a happy christmas and will have a merry new year. my name is allen , new to this forum. I am looking for an exhaust bracket for my bike, 163 mm centres, can any body help me. i have tried a few places ,they say that this part is no longer available. need this bracket to keep exhaust in place .old one was just welded to exhaust pipe , which has seen better days. I will be most grateful if somebody can help me.

grind the old bracket off the exhaust. the bracket is miles thicker than the pipe
just butcher the old pipe off from around the bracket then grind away the leftovers.
