Fantastic, would anyone who has bought one, please give us the thickness of the plate supplied, plus how much you had to cut from the leg shields,

Then we can get the correct size plates cut, Thanks.
Plate is 5mm.

Can't tell you about the trimming as I've not fitted it yet - I can't get the bloody steering head nut off? What bloody tool do you need? :?

Sorry. I'm a noob and a numpty...

:D Thanks for the info, 5mm, that is a tad thin, anyway, back to your nut, your going to have to drift it round with a flat end pin punch and a hammer,

unless someones got the link to a long reach castle nut tool, as most C spanners are a pain to fit. :(

Sorry I'm so late to pick this thread up... I made my own one, to fit a 12v bike.

It attaches to the piece that bolts in sideways through the fork. I had intended to use counter bored holes with nuts under the risers, but the colleague who did the machining/cutting didn't have the means, so the risers bolt in to threaded holes.

Here's some pics

I drew this up on CAD during a lunch break ;) and have a drawing for it if anyone's interested...

Thanks. I was just thinking that...

And that is some slab compared to mine mylittletony! Any pics of the whole bike?

Hi Badhand,

yeah, it is a chunk, aluminium though... I wanted it thick enough for a nut underneath the handle bar risers to be fully enclosed. However, ended up screwing straight into it instead.

I've got a whole bike pic in my project thread: here

Nice. I'm going along the same lines with my project. But not so minty!

Do I spy a Craze cobra custom seat there? ;)

Maybe... Will be unwrapped soon hopefully!

I'm happy to share the drawing, if you want it please pm me your email address.
I must state that I drew it for myself to use on my bike, with the risers I already had. It may need further work to fit other bikes and I can't accept any responsibility for anyone deciding to use it. The drawing is for guidance purposes only.

Sorry to be a bore, but you can't be too careful!
