Handlebar Conversion Kit

This simple bracket allows you to swap your original handlebars for 22mm common motorcycle bars.

The bracket is fully bolt-on and requires no major modifications.

This is exactly what i thought the other day :(
is it because the steel plate need to be thicker to get the bars higher. :?:

What would the cost be for two plates but no handlebar mounts. they dont have to painted as i would tig them together.
or would higher risers be the answer.

I think it will fit all cubs with the possible exception of the C100 & CM models. It depends on the gap between the 2 inner bolt holes.

The leg shield has to be trimmed to allow the steering to have full lock. The conversion plate fouls on the leg shield it only needs 10-15mm trimmed off the top to give it clearance.

When you remove the original bars you are left with the headstock lock nut which is all below the line of the leg shield.

This is was my simple / affordable solution which is pretty simple to install.

I'm just fitting mine up now.....it's a nice piece of kit and has allowed me an opportunity to sort out some of my nasty wiring :)
I will post up some pics when I'm done
