Majesty 250 £750 OVNO

Post by Bogger » Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:12 pm

As the header suggests, I'm selling the 250 Majesty it's a 1996 With 19k miles on the clock. I can't verify this mileage but think it's correct. It came to me in need of TLC. I can assure you it's had plenty.

In no particular order I'll list what has been done.

Replacement seat with no holes rips or tears in it
Front pads replaced caliper stripped cleaned and greased
Brake fluid replaced
Rear brake stripped cleaned and adjusted, cable lubricated
Rear hub carrier removed, bead blasted and painted in 2K paint
New rear hub carrier bearing and seal
Engine oil flushed, and gauze filters cleaned. Filled up with 5/40 fully synthetic oil
Rear diff/final drive oil replaced
New air filter
Variator filters cleaned
Drive belt replaced, roller weights and variator cleaned
Front wheel bearings regreased
New battery
Two new, genuine Yamaha Tuning fork emblems front and rear
Two new tyres
Exhaust painted, outer heat shield in 2k silver
All bulbs replaced inc Halogen headlamp bulb
New O/S mirror
All upper plastics removed, All nicks, scratches and any cracking repaired properly and repainted in Sikkens water-based paint and High solid lacquer
The colour is Ford Metallic Panther Black and a Metallic pearl Audi red
Front indicator lenses re-lacquered
New battery.
It passed it's MOT on Saturday with no advisories

Finally hours and hours of graft
So it it perfect......for £750.00 no its not, but it is pretty good. On the lower plastics there are a few scuffs and scratches but nothing major.

It runs and rides fine, but the only miles I've done on it is to the MOT station and back 12 miles

I have the V5 in my name

Please PM me if you are genuinely interested. I'm located in Lowton near to Wigan and Warrington.

The following images were taken on Saturday.

"Your Majesty ...." ;)

Looks great, Mr Bogger.

Truthfully, if I hadn't got the Diversion, I'd buy that. I don't suspect it'll hang around long. 8-)

As in close but no cigar. I've looked at the images again. I must refit the 'Majesty' badges to the sides.
