It's a while since I had an iPad but is that the only tab you can open? Nothing like one labelled My Images?

TBH that view is the primary one I get on a laptop and then have to navigate.

In that case it's ... Choose images .... John

If I click on Choose Images it takes me to my photo gallery

Yep, now,
Hold down Control key,
then click in each picture,
then on Open/Upload
