Honda C90ZZ 6v Round Headlight 1981

New MOT and next year MOT exempt and free road tax !
28,849 miles believed correct
I have decided to reduce my collection, so an opportunity to purchase a unique, mechanically excellent machine, but with original patina to cosmetics.
I did consider repainting during restoration, but thought it would be a shame to lose all the the originality
I have completely dismantled, cleaned the paintwork and applied waxoyl to underside and cavities, but frame sound and original. Replacement swinging arm fitted
More of an “oily rag” bike than a concours winner 😊but has had a comprehensive overhaul.
It has had following work recently.
New piston and rebore. Head overhauled, new timing chain and engine big end/con rod and main bearings.
New carburettor fuel pipes and air filter
New foot rest rubbers
New plates to centrifugal clutch
Selects gears fine and all working correctly
New exhaust system and leg shields
New front and rear tyres and tubes
New DID rims, new spokes sealed wheel bearings front and rear.
New Stanley indicator lens all round
New genuine Honda brake shoes and springs.
New chain and sprockets
New head race bearings and front suspension overhauled
New cables
New points, condenser, HT lead cap and spark plug
New Motobatt battery

Loads of receipts

Seat patched but base sound

Starts and runs great.

Im in Godalming, near Guildford, Surrey

Will be listing on Ebay but here first

I really like the 90ZZ model, I think it is my favourite C90. My mate's old-dear had a blue one in the eighties. She used to wear a white piss-pot helmet, with no internal lining, just a peakless shell held on with a chin strap. To top it off she used to wear her slippers in conjunction with her favourite pair of nylon flares. She used to whizz around everywhere on it, totally oblivious to the world around her. I still chuckle to myself at the sight of her, to this day. She died in 2019, R.I.P.
