JohnS, fitting an external battery charging lead is imperative. If the battery goes flat you need to remove the panel over it but to access it you need to lift the seat but as the release is electrical you can’t as the battery is flat Dogsbody

Sorry, should have said to access the toolkit that is behind the side panel the release is under the seat. If you are at home you would have tools anyway to undo the panel. Better to have the charge lead outside anyway. Any info you need I bought a workshop manual from the States.

Great advice met a young lady that suffered this issue and of course invariably your steering lock is on too.

Hope your sat down John.
First remove rear fender, that is
two bolts at side, two bolts at top, two trim clips then diconnect the sub harness connector.
then disconnect light connector, two nuts, reflector, twoscrews and light cover, two screws and licence light unit.
that is for american model so you are the guinea pig. Good luck

Thanks a lot Dogsbody.Good grief.I thought it might be complicated.I’m trying to fit a high level brake light.I might try looking for an electrical supply from somewhere else,the brake switch possibly.

I have a high level brake light ,a strip LED from Wish very bright and stuck on to the rack on my Xevo.
17cm cob led cost £2 for 2 .

I have fitted two,one to my C90 and one to my scooter.Sorry no pictures though.
But getting at the wiring on this C125 looks a much bigger job.
