I have found a Vespa I really want, I only have a few days to sort out cash. So my 1996 c90 up for grabs, if the Vespa goes, 90 will be off sale (again)
6800 miles, e/start, long mot, good condition, good history. be quick, it`s in Durham and I would like £1500
pictures on previous advert...
Don't suppose anyone interested in it, but I got the Vespa...IMG-20200806-WA0006.jpg
It's a small frame Vespa. I can tell that from the rear panel. Is it an S90?
It's a 50 special, the 4 speed one..

Excellent!

I'm probably teaching Granny to suck eggs but they have a vibrant and friendly vintage section at Modern Vespa forum.

Give our regards to jimc there. 8-)

There’s some fancy kits out now for the 50’s, I’m racing a Vespa in a 6 hour endurance race at the T’side karting track on the 12th September , ours is fast but there is some serious bits of kit turn up , cheers Ian.

''I don't know...I enjoy riding it but when I was over in weardale/teesdale the other day some of the hills were just such hard work. If there had been no traffic it might have been safer but even with 'covid' amounts it was scary. Having to carry spare fuel all the time is getting to be a pain. I did the same 90 Mile round trip on the RE yesterday and it was much safer.''

I use to live in weardale (or the arse end of nowhere as I called it! ) and can imagine the struggle on the 90 going up some of the roads in the area, especially around stanhope, killhope...fueling up just took a bit of planning (I had/have a burgman 400)......
