This belongs to a friend local to me, near Southend.

13,495 miles., MOT 16th Nov

Recently found to have been a Cat C in 2008, something that Stuart was unaware of until recently having been passed around amongst friends, none of whom are small bike people. The clutch could do with replacing, no problems with changing gear but judders slightly. The exhaust has been welded but doesn’t leak or flap about and went through the MOT as it is.

Stuart is not a small bike person and recommissioned it last year then used it for about 300 miles with no problems while he was rebuilding his NX650 Dominator. It's had new pads and chain and starts on the button.

Couple of pics, the bike wasn’t cleaned for these, he only got about 30 minutes notice!

If interested please PM me for his contact details, I also have a few more pics including one with the full reg (obviously).
Not advertised anywhere else. He needs the space, the longer it hangs around the more chance it will end up with me. :D

Would a bigger Chinese CG-clone engine fit in this, maybe a 230cc?

There already was a Honda 230 called the SL230. Really rare but a top bike. About 100kg and a 230 engine, good clearance and knobblies for off road use but nice on the road too.
Rode mine back from Seven Seas to Bristol.
Lovely bike if you can find one

230cc is the biggest CG-derived engine you can buy.

I believe that Diesel Dave has a variant of the 230 CG motor in his Black Douglas Sterling.

Presumably they are an overbored 125. I would guess that the main restriction to fitting one would be the height.
