I just couldn’t pay that...as nice as it is, I bought one for £180, one owner, just over a thousand miles....going back 18years though. There’s never been so many on eBay at the moment in the same price range 2-5 grand.....don’t seem to be shifting.

Give me a 800 pounder that I can drop and not worry about.
Good luck with the sale though.

I went down the road of getting a mint Innova for half that money, hopefully I can attend more rallies this year, I would not relish riding through the Dartford Tunnel on a C90, just needs a bit more puff to do that section of road safely, so I never went north in all the time I had the Townmate (I know members do it, I followed Mark through it on his Yellow one).

NOTE

Before it gets out of hand (it hasn't,yet, ;) ) please bear in mind the forum guidance on bike sales:-

Also, please bear in mind, unfavourable comments on a price will be removed immediately. Any member can ask what they like for bikes or parts, and it's not for others to comment upon.

The seller can advertise a bike for as much or as little as they want to. Any comments suggesting that it's not worth the asking price risk being deleted.

Ta!

Following Mark on his Townmate through a tunnel was an unforgettable experience. All those explosions and flames out of his exhaust.

Don't really like riding a Cub over the bridge either but have done it quite a few times. Usually try to get the Woolwich ferry back if I can.

Are they non original legshields ? No stickers on them and they look too white to me.
The legshield is a genuine nos as the original one had a few marks on it.
It’s got the gear shift sticker on it and the Honda plastic emblem
The only sticker missing is mark drive caution part no 87560181760ze €3.50 ( cmsnl)
As i forgot to order one

Absolutely! :D The reasoning being that the more the value rises, the fewer will be scrapped. And the more that will be brought back to life.

And of course, what someone is prepared to pay is no one's business but their own.

ou have to host photos else where somewhere like tinypic. or postimage.

Nice to see one with the number plate .
Or email the pics to me capitano AT bikerider DOT com and I will get them up on here.

Looks a cracking bike but you've summed up my reservations. If I bought it, I wouldn't want to ride it and have it deteriorate. If I bought it and didn't ride it, I'd be resentful.

There's a buyer out there though and I hope it's someone on here. 8-)

PS: A location will help sell it. ;)
Bang on Capitano, I bought a real minter early last year, every time I rode it I washed it. I know it sounds daft but it was too nice to ride. I know they arn't the same but for 200 quid more Id be buying a brand new c-125 and not be feeling guilty about riding it. :P
Me too. I picked up a minter. It even had the original paper label on the engine. It belonged in a museum really. I took it out once for a photo shoot for that years calendar.

I'm into riding bikes, not cleaning them. I couldn't give it the home it deserved, and so I sold it on.
