Suzuki FL125 Address £1200 SOLD

Post by 125erCrazy » Fri Dec 14, 2018 4:23 pm

Reshuffle time on forecourt so considering selling my Suzuki FL125 (K8) in Silver.

Bought by me in 2012 from Sturdeys in Tonbridge who had to preregister it on a 10 plate (reg date 28/09/2010)

I had the 600 mile service on 01/05/2013.

I sold it in 2014 to a friend who placed it in a heated garage (yes his garage is nicer than my home) & he only rode it to MOT

I bought it back earlier this year & got an MOT 26/10/2018 (where it will show it's only failure- overtight chain, my bad for rushing to get it pre checked & going to a different MOT station but he gets his failure quote then passed it  )

Genuine mileage 922.

The bike is in immaculate condition with no rust anywhere (but the spokes could do with some elbow grease to recover the lustre, spokes always an issue as you folk know)

This is a cherished scoot with genuine history.
Yes the price is top dollar dealer money but I've seen sheds in Orwells for same price with 6K on the clock & rust all over.

If folk want pictures emailed contact me.

If it doesn't sell,no worries as I will change it to my winter hack, green lane light weight but it would be a shame to have a quality bike shagged up by winter use (my current winter hack is hopefully Pxing)

Treat yourself to a Santa special 8-) my descriptions are honest & folk on here have bought from me before so my reputation is good (I think :?: )

I'm just not doing this scoot justice sitting covered, trickle charging bathed in ACF-50

These are great bikes. If they're built anything like the Thai versions we get (assuming they are) they're rock solid. I've seen seriously high mileage versions here, as in rolled over odometers on original engines.

Good luck with the sale.

Cheers AE86

I seem to recall buying 'farkles' (front basket) when I first got it from Thailand it was sold as the 'shogun' there

Funny that they call it the "Viva" where we are, although that brings to memory a tiny Vauxhall for me.

Photos need to be hosted else where ,postimage.org works.

Passed my test in a Vauhall Viva HB SL90. My great uncle bought one in England and shipped it home to Malaysia that was an HA though.
