Looking to sell my Cub :-(

Hey guys,

I made a bit of a financial boo-boo whilst on holiday and basically I'm going to have to sell the Cub to balance the books this month... I'm not going to be using it for work so I'm wanting to insure my MX-5 (which has been SORN) and use that instead.

I only arrived home at 6am today so I'm going to post pics etc tmrw night. As you can tell from my posts, it's in need of a piston and barrel now, but is in really good nick, cub shocks fitted plus fairing. Less than 30k miles, C reg, erm... not sure what else. Runs fine, bit smokey but you can ride it home I guess. MOT about 9 months, Tax ditto. It's blue and in good clean nick.

It's in Southampton and I'm going to have to put it on ebay on Monday as the situation is relatively pressing. Between now and then if anyone on here wants it I'll take £350. Looking at ebay I don't think that's taking the p1ss?

Then next month I can buy another one and start again!

Would it be cost effective to do the piston etc and sell it as a tip top bike? not for me you understand, I've got too many bikes already......

Thanks pjam. Sadly I can't really afford to do the top end so I'm going to sell it as is. Yea I'll be getting another one next month or so.

I live in Southampton and am looking for a scooter for about exactly this price. I was ideally looking for a Honda 50 too! However...How important is the work that needs doing? Is it essential for it to be ridden?

It rides fine mate, just a bit smokey now as reported in other posts! It has brand new adjustable shocks, brand new exhaust and is a great little cub.

I'd not be selling at this price if I wasn't pretty much desperate for the cash - hence price. I'll PM you my number - if you want to come take a look I'm in Shirley, give me a quick call.

It's going on ebay this afternoon at £350. Don't expect it will take long to sell on there at that price chaps?
