Honda 1965 CM90 For sale £1000***SOLD***
As title. V5 in my name. Very original. 10 months MOT, 11 months tax but it's free anyway as it is historic status.
It had been stood since the early eighties. It needs nothing and is ready to be used. I've used it for commuting 12 mile work run for the last 2 months, 1 trip around the Yorkshire Dales and Lotherton Hall VJMC show today. Work done by myself;
Carb fully rebuilt with new parts. Ultrasonic cleaned and clear lacquered.
Engine fully rebuilt. All new quality bearings, cases blasted and 2k painted, new clutch springs, new piston and rings genuine, re bored to suit by Blands in Barnsley.
Cylinder head valve seats re cut, new Nikon valves and inner and outer valve springs. All new gaskets. Engine runs like clockwork and is totally leak free.
Original 2 air boxes fitted and totally solid. The rare second one has been blasted and 2k painted.
New Michelin M45 tyres and tubes.
Rims original and true.
Engine plastic sump shield still fitted!
All electrics work as they should.
New wheel bearings including drive bearing.
New brake shoes genuine.
New points and condenser.
New battery.
The frame is very very solid. Only has light surface rust and I have tried to keep it as original as possible.
The exhaust is a pattern c90 adapted to fit. I keep missing the oem silencers that pop up now and again on ebay but the one fitted is perfectly serviceable.
Sad to sell as it has loads of character but I'm having a big clear out as I need garage space back.
No px. Straight cash sale.
Here is a chance to buy a very desirable Honda OHV.
I do have quite a few spares which could be negotiated at time of sale.
Cheers, Lee

Hi, the price is firm. There's not going to be many like this. Ride as is or simple strip and paint/ re chrome for a more restored look. Either way it's fully usable.rambo22 wrote:Hey up mate how far away are you from Nottingham ? And what's lowest you would take cash

Usually is Lee! Not everyone admits it though! I've spent half an hour of more trying to find an account to get 'em back in, emails flying back and forth, then they say... 'Oooops, sorry, wrong forum!'
