Re: My New? ST70
Just took a few photos of the ST70 stand i have to show fitting.
On my one part of the hole for the stand pin was worn through,so had them weld some washers on it for me at work before i had it powder coated.
Did have to file a little bit off the stand to fit it in.
With the extra washers on i had to have them make me a longer stand pin.

Re: My New? ST70
Steve, your 1st photo looks similar to mine, I don’t see what you mean by ‘longer pin’ , my assembly seems complete as is but trying to fit without overturning the bike looks ext difficult. Maybe it’s just me! - some say I’m always difficult?
I would rather not upturn the bike and damage the new paint job.

Hi Jim.
The stand you have from oor will be from a copy of the ST and are a little bit different shape.
The longer pin on mine is the one the stand moves on,needed a longer one as i had the thick washers welded on the footrest bit of it.
With your's only having the side stand on it the bike will need holding up to remove the old one and fit the new. You could get away with putting the bike on its side on something soft to take it off.

Damn! SORN is free, when using these services make sure you are on a .Gov page, not the third party chancers who rub their hands with glee when people inadvertently land on their page! They charge you to do the service which is free!
You've been ripped off, sadly! Google are now supposed to relegate these pages to appearing AFTER the .Gov pages.

Yes, well I’ve now taxed it and can ride it on road (weather & health permitting).

Well that's good Jim, you can't take filthy lucre with you when you dodge off, but riding experience you definitely can!
