I used to deliver printing plates to companies in Norfolk and Suffolk. If it was a Friday or Saturday I would sometimes use the GS1220 and collect the wife, daughter and caravan for a weekend away at short notice.

Also found the GS with it's hydropneumatic suspension would carry about half a ton and stay level with the bonus that it cleaned the rear discs up nicely. :D

Dropping the Citroens into Low ride position when parked was a great way to stop a wheel clamp being fitted.

Yes, also drove mine with a rear wheel off to see if the TV ad was true. :lol:

Never tried that but more than once Drove miles on a flat tyre because the suspension kept the car balanced
and ride height equal.
Was always the burning rubber smell or other drivers pointing that got my attention :lol:

and as for my suzuki car 1000cc 3 cyclinders 12v still doing 81/82 mpg also free road tax,
