sprockets

hi all i have just made my chinky 90 monkey into a 110 by swapping the barrel and head form a older engine
i also ported the head at the same time
it runs really well and pulls to 45 quickly but its screaming at 45 in top
is the gearing in some engines different ?
the sprockets i have are 17t 29t 420 with 8" wheels and was wandering if the 26t rear sprocket would make a big difference
i have seen a 19t front sprocket on amazon but from memory 18t is about as big as you can fit
