Hi all!
I have a 73 ST50 with matching wiring loom, with a 79 Z50 engine in it. I`m no wizard on electrics, but I keep blowing the bulbs and frying the battery. As far as I have understood it now, the 73 ST has the voltage regulator on the ignition plate, and the 79 Z50 has a external one. Am I right to assume this? If this is right, what`s the best solution for me? Getting a external regulator, or a original complete ignition plate?
Thanks in advance!
