Out of a hundred bikes there is always 20 to 30 with Lifan’s in, don’t buy a second hand one buy new, change the oil and run in before the race , they seem to last ok good luck.

Re: Lifan 110 engine
Thank you so much
Mine was new in 2018 and has now done about 1000 miles and I ran it in quite carefully.
I've been using the bike fairly regularly on the road and have converted to "race trim" now so I will just have to see how it goes.

It will be fine just put fresh oil in before the race and don’t forget to wire your sump plug and filler cap .

Re: Lifan 110 engine
I did Cadwell on a brand new 110 lifan. Took it out the box, changed the oil, then held it flat out with zero running in whatsoever, all day.
It was fine, it didn't even use any measurable quantity of oil.
Think I got the fifth or so fastest lap time out of all the bikes running. Not bad!

Re: Lifan 110 engine
another query Guys......
When I fitted the Lifan 110 I didnt change the jets in the carburettor, I just used the carb that was on the c90 engine. The bike seems to run fine but I wonder if I would get more power/speed if I up the size of the jets.
Any advice much appreciated

Re: Lifan 110 engine
We were thinking of going the Lifan route soon - is there a benefit to getting the 4-speed over the 3-speed?
And where is a good place to buy from? Lots showing no stock at the minute.

Re: Lifan 110 engine
You get an extra gear with the 4 speed .
