2018 PLOP ENDURO (Round 1)
THE MALLORY100....... UPDATE!

As of this morning (Sat 13th) the grid of 100 bikes is filled!

We now have a reserve list in place for those who didn't make the main entry list.
Its now VITAL that those few teams who haven't fully completed and sent in their forms and/or fees do so as soon as possible now.
If these are not received then the places will be given over to the reserves who have!

This is the quickest that the Plop has ever oversold, especially with this size of grid.
We've created a Plop Monster!! :D

Bring it on!!

Will probably come to spectate again. Was going to enter, started a brand new build, new frame, engine, wheels etc - then life got in the way, and now I'm riding across America and Canada offroad instead

With that in mind, the 300 mile round trip will be a good shakedown for the XT before it's shipped!

WE'RE NEARLY THERE!!

This time next week one hundred teams will be all prepped and making their way to Mallory Park!
Lets hope for the same weather as we’ve had the last few days!

Just as a reminder, we’ll be starting scrutineering as soon as we can late Friday afternoon.
The aim is to get as much admin as we can out the way, to minimise whats left on Sat morning.
Race packs will be handed out to all teams, which will contain race numbers, scrutineering cards, disclaimers etc.
All teams need to be up and about on Saturday morning around 07:00am to complete all the necessary.
A safety briefing will take place around 08:30am and ALL competitors MUST attend (and collect a wristband to prove so)
Ive been asked to remind all to remember to wire up sump plugs and dipsticks.
This is a requirement of the circuit and will be checked at scrutineering. Please check your bike has these in place.
The pit lane garages will be open and available to us all to use, on a first come basis. Quite a few teams can fit in each garage so share and share alike please.

There is a charge for the garages but our Club has pre-paid for these, so we may be passing the hat round on the day!
Please be reminded that we will be scrutineering the event ALL DAY, both in the pits and in the paddock, for the full duration.
We don’t want to see any untoward changes to any bikes post-scrutineering!!
We’ll also have a speed gun in pit-lane so be reminded of the strict speed limitations.
Any indiscretions will result in removing laps from the teams results, which can have great effect on the final standings!
Once again we will have a one hour break during the day, likely at 13:00hrs (again a circuit noise abatement requirement)
At this time there is a choice to line up on the grid and leave the bikes there unattended (no work or refuelling allowed)
Or to come into the pits/paddock for the hour. In this case the pit lane will remain closed for 4 laps following restart.
The choice is yours!

The main aim of the Plop is to have a safe and fun event.
Looking forward too another great Mallory100
See you there!!

Looking forward to it, nervously

2 quick questions:

On Friday will we be ok to take our van into the paddock and leave it there overnight?

The transponder - does this come with a bracket and is it easy and obvious how to fit?

Thanks
