Seems as though the swingarm is irrelevant and the assembly is part of the brake rod arrangement.
Hopefully at some point this may assist someone even if not in this particular circumstance.

Got me off to look at my arrangement now, was sure the swing arm had lugs.... :? :?

You are indeed right SIr! And I stand corrected! :oops:

Good news for me as I have a few of the brake assemblies to list on ebay, but didn't think they were any use to any model except the CT200! :D

Hi,

Sorry I'm late to the party but entered the Mallory plop this year (my first one) which is now differed to 2021 :(

Now I have a bit more time I would like to convert to a cable hand operated rear brake...

Is the advice still a Honda melody rear brake cable & simply welding a lug onto the swing arm?

any pictures would be very useful and you can email me at davidford.4d@gmail.com if that is allowed ?

any advice would be much appreciated
