Anyone seen one of these?
Apparently it's police spec:
I want one! I've read elsewhere that the Humberside cops had some, so you never know...

There was an ex-Police CD200 Benly on ebay a while back.. Not sure where it had served.. somewhere in t' South rings a bell.

Ah, the CD250U....they weren't around for long and were pretty much the dying gasp of the 'modern Benly' range in the UK, some nice ones still around, but spares can be difficult and expensive, and they were known for rotting badly...VERY badly as it happens... I looked at a few before buying my 200 instead

Sorry, I just meant this particular version with the single seat. That's the first one I've seen like that. Doesn't sound like a great buy all round though.cruncherkid wrote:Ah, the CD250U...
That Pakistani CD200 is fantastic!

I find it brilliant how so many Hondas share parts, that front end would almost fit straight onto an XL125 and the rack and seat look like they'd fit a CT125, makes it loads easier to get parts

Not seen a single seat one before, but I used to own a normal seat one.

Re: Anyone seen one of these?
when i was in my teens the local cops used CB200's. they were standard except for the radio and fairing. they could not catch me on my cub 50 which was a lot more agile, especially along tight footpaths. i also know a bloke who had one for donkeys years and it never let him down. although they were gutless they were very reliable. im sure that someone once told me that you can fit the piston to a cub. i cant remember which cub but i would think a 6 volt 90. here is an actual restored CB200

Re: Anyone seen one of these?
A mate of mine had a CB200, judging by the way he could never keep up I would say it was gutless, tragically so.

Re: Anyone seen one of these?
Must have been the rider or a poorly bike. They were pretty nippy if you used the revs. Same engine as the CD200 but twin carbs and 'hotter' cam so less low end torque but more at the top, so more power if you thrash 'em.
