Gorilla Tank Find
I stumbled upon this! As far as I know it's from a Honda Z50 Gorilla Monkey
It's in very good shape, no rust at all. A few bumps and scratches but TBH it's better than the photo suggests. Tap, Cap and rubbers present, though no key for the cap.
Can you tell me any more, a date perhaps or anything else of interest. What's the symbol on the tap for eg (next to 'On' and 'Res'?
Also, while we are here can you I/D the lamp? I've got it earmarked for the A100 project. It's marked 'Stanley Japan'.

I haven't got the cap off yet, no key! I'd be surprised if it was a copy ..... It's very good quality and it's quite old. Hope notzippy wrote: If it's honda the fuel cap will fit your c90.

Ah, OK.zippy wrote:the patent was up in 92 or 96. When the copys came out
Is there any way of telling a copy from an original? My instincts tell me it's legit but I've never examined one before. The guy I got it off had it on the shelf in his garage ....when I asked him how long it'd been there he couldn't remember! ''I dunno'' he said, ''years''.
