hmmm £450, then prob a few quid to fix or at least the headache of tracing dodgy electrics, and then you need to get it home... its damn near up as far as me lol well between me and joefish, and are the early 90s ones not Brazilian? can't remember cut off date for japan made CG's other than that it looks fine, but a courier is gonna be £100 to get it shipped, so then £550 and still dodgy wiring to sort. even driving up yourself to transport it, well fuel aint cheap. especially in a van. nothing closer to home zippy? i would have thought north wales be a good hunting ground, like the highlands up here, you can pick up some real bargains. just a pain to get to, but wirral aint far from north wales. my last cub came from arse end of perthshire... got it at decent cash.
Shame your down there my mate up here is a bike instructor, i can get great rates for folks, basically direct access, all test fees and bike rental £450. his usual rates are £600 and up, depending how slow a learner someone is. might even be cheaper now cos they went and done away with bits of the test, so less yard work to do.

tracing wires is time consuming but not hard with a loom diagram.
the BRJ ended in 91.

good thing is, that CG if you got it, sorted it up cheap, used it for a couple month, done test, and flogged it on, you won't make a loss. and at least will break even. hell you might even fall in love with it and want to keep her.

Re: Cheap honda 125?
Dunno whether this is any good Zippy... in this month's Classic Bike Guide..
"Honda CD125 Benly, pile of bits, some parts missing, V5 present, was running, lost interest in it, £100 buyer collects.
07772 716831 Staffordshire"
Could be worth a ring see what the craic is. They're a great little bike.. exactly the same engine as the CM125 but minus the dubious custom style.....
.... and who's to know it's got a 185 or 200 engine in, should it accidentally get fitted with one?

Re: Cheap honda 125?
has to have gears to be manual license.
collecting isn't really an issue for the right bike.

Is this a genuine cd125t? as it's only got 1 cylinder?
