Went to the Moto Retro Wieze classic bike jumble last weekend, and Mrs Norm couldn't resist this, so it's now sat in our living room:

Nice... just picked up another honda ped myself, also in orange funnily enough... pig to try and get a colour code for, but finally nailed it, since thats a 1971, that will be in "mars orange YR-6" and mines is in "shiny orange YR-26" so if you ever need to get a touch up, theres the colours. they also seem to be making decent prices these days, safe i ask what you gave for that wee beauty norm?

Yes, saw your Express, which is what reminded me that I hadn't actually posted mine on the board yet
It looks like a great buy, and I guess since they sold so many of those in the UK, parts shouldn't be so hard to come by.
The Amigos are a bit of a cult thing here in Belgium (where they were manufactured), so even virtual basket cases make around €200. This one has been fully-restored from the ground up by a guy who knows them inside out. All the paintwork is new, as are the tyres, top-end, chain, cables (electric and control), wheels, brakes, seat, etc.
It was the last of 5 he had for sale at the show (the others were red, the most common colour), and at €800 apiece, he must have been happy with his weekend. Although adding up the cost of the new parts, I don't reckon he allowed himself much for the labour

Use it to conceal some neon mood lighting, nice.
