New Jawa Pioneer 50 with Honda clone engine.
Just discovered these... New Jawas (out since last year) with styling based on the 1950s Pioneer and with a Cub shape engine!
Chinese built I'd guess? (a la MZ, Sachs and other great European names)

$1700 in the USA. I wonder if anybody's bringing them here?
I'd choose that with a 110 in over an Innowave clone any day.
1955 Pioneer.

Nice to see companies doing stuff like this, a shame not here yet, but its sure better looking than the usual plastic chinese scooter.... its like a cross between a cub and one of those simpson schwalbe stepthroughs that someone is trying to sell on the other for sale section. i like the tank in the frame... like a dax. hopefully would hold a decent amount.

That yellow one looks fantastic It needs a battered old Rickman box instead of that modern thing though.

Well I like the red one! We'd do well on a night out... Don't fancy yours!!
Just a thought... Checking (Czeching?? ) out Crammy's link there, which is one of these..
It looks like the Pioneer might be a plastic clothing job on the same bike.. Look at the forks, tank cap angle, and rear shocks angle..
A bit like the new 110 Japan market Cub, with its retro looks on the Wave frame.

The enclosed back end on these, is it called a 'Bathtub'? Or is that a Triumph thing?

Your right! ( theres an uncommon thing ) the bathtub Monika indeed does reference an old triumphPjam wrote:The enclosed back end on these, is it called a 'Bathtub'? Or is that a Triumph thing?
