Round headlights need the correct bulb/reflector bulb combo. If it's wrong it will light up the side of the road or just point upwards. My C70 had a large hole in the middle of the beam on dip with a reflector type bulb in, a dual offset element bulb sorted the problem out.

mark, i can't tell you cos mines is a bit of a beast, been ported, flowed, and bored out to 135cc, and carbon power reeds, with a custom made expansion pipe, the bike is producing about 22+hp (prob near 25, not dyno'ed it yet), and the chassis has been pared back to the basics, or will be when complete. if i mind right its around 4000-7000 rpm on the bog standard bike I've only ever ridden a standard one once. and even it had a expansion pipe (allspeed) and fibre reeds fitted. they can be surprisingly quick little bikes and a lot of room for improvement over the standard bhp can be had. look at RX 135, and 115 pistons, barrels etc, also its possible to fit a DT175 air-cooled head on if con rod and piston are changed, the bottom end is tough enough to take it. the RX 115 and 135 are still made and sold in SE asia and india. i got my motor breathed on but Stan Stephens but it seems from what io read in motorcycle mechanics recently, he is only doing real high end stuff now, as he is knocking on a bit and wants a lower workload. but racoon do decent work. but do not ignore the YEIS boost, it gives the RXS a smoother power spread than a lot of 2 strokers of the day, so the torque is layed down a bit more like a 4 stroke, hence 3000 rpm window of opportunity for the power band. but if you do decide to rebore etc, make sure you source a boost bootle from the right model, i.e., if ya use a 135 piston get a boost bootle off a RX135, same for 115 as the boost bottle is matched to the capacity of the bike. fitting a bigger boost bottle won't give you any more power. so its no cheap bolt on power up.
