Been watching Alan Millard on YouTube building his Honda SS100 and 2 things comes to mind what clutch did he use as the standard 1 plate was on its limit for slipping when you put a c70 top end on and did he up rate the oil pump and use a wasted spark IGN

His very good, but hasn't got the TV chat or spark that would be needed, sounds very dull much like tony Hart,

Watched him put the ss100 together at the classic mechanics shows many moons ago,
He then took it outside to start her up.

I saw him doing one of his Kawasaki multi cylinder engines at Stafford...great to watch but as you say, didn't have the spark needed for telly. He didn't do very well in Robot Wars either....Crocodilatron was destroyed :(
