With the older cubs (c90, MD90, CC110, C110 Pro etc) how should I factor in milage and age? Most of the ones advertised by Seven Seas look to be rather high in milage, but I know they are also highly durable. I have a poor sense of how long these motorcycles typically last.
Supercubs are capable of surprisingly high mileages if well maintained. Seven Seas seem to have a good reputation and the few used bikes I've looked at have not had high mileage, indeed it would be interesting to know whether they are in miles or kilometres being mainly sourced from Japan.

It's worth considering parts availability here, a lot of C90 parts fit a lot of the derivatives but some items may be a pain sourcing locally for a model never having been sold here. The parts will be available somewhere though. :D

The bikes from Seven Seas are in kilometres on the speedos. :)

And here's a couple of MD90 reviews, I found useful; (These bikes were Seven Seas', but sold thru' Irish dealer/contact)

Although Seven Seas initially suggested they could ship in parts in their containers this has not happened and I doubt it ever will. Their agent/s are less than thrilled about the idea and I can understand why

Yes, they're not going into parts-sales, per se, least not to the general public. However if you buy a bike from them, they will help you with stuff you can't get over here. (I did double check before committing myself to an oddity like the MD) :)
