I think Hitchcocks are a decent dealer, next day delivery on most stuff. Also lots of old stock. I've also a friend in Pune who sends me Genuine R/E parts at a bargain price, so would never be stuck for spares.
As far as service goes, they're probably about the best. I once ordered a pilot light at five to six on a Friday evening, and it came by post on the Saturday morning. Turned out it was Alan Hitchcock himself that took the call and posted it on his way home. Not many would do that. Some complain about their prices, but if you rely on your bike on a daily basis, that complaint becomes secondary.
