Hello all,
My previous Transalp had progressive springs already fitted.......they were really great...what an improvement.

I’ve got another Transalp 600 and I’m going to treat myself to some more, thing is there’s a few brands to pick from.........
Yss, hagon, hyperpro, koni. The price doesn’t vary too much and not knowing which ones were in my last tranny I have no idea if any brand stands above the others. So if you had a preference can you let me know please.

I've always gone hagon as Essex based company so a visit isn't impossible, they listen to what you ask & work alongside you.

Having said that iirc on the RV125 the shock was only adjustable with the rear wheel out as adjustment was top only so lots of faff to get it right

I had some hagon rear shocks on one of my innovas....came with the bike. When I phoned them about getting some more for the innova I just sold they didn’t have any on the shelf and he said I’d hVe to bring the bike down to them. I couldn’t understand this as they sell plenty to the the bike shops in Greece for the innovas out there....weird.

Partially answered your own question if that was the customer experience that's one company off your list

Hagon or Koni. I've always found Koni better. Never had them on a transalp, but worked much better on old GS BM's than Hagon, front and rear.
