Looking at an electric scooter on another forum I found a Cub looky likey at £1700 in the USA .

If only it came here at £2000..... Cheap as a push bike, would find space for one in my garage.

I looked at importing one, but because it’s on mechanically operated drum brakes, I’m not sure it would get through the SVA test as they aren’t linked and neither do they have ABS.

Unless someone knows different. 8-)

Slow boy, ABS only required on bikes 125 and up. Pretty sure that is moped equivalent being 30 mph.

Thanks. I knew that, but below that I thought they have to have linked brakes if not ABS. Not so easy on mechanical drums unless you’re Heath Robinson 😂 :lol:
